Getting here from Towradgi
Straight up the coast.
Memorial Drive does most of the work and the highway does the rest. We are a shopfront on the highway itself at Woonona, so there is no turn-off to watch for.
Where to park
Street parking along the highway frontage, plus the untimed public car parks on Haddon Lane and Ball Street. For colour, smoothing or anything that runs long, park in one of those two and forget about it.
Without a car
The highway buses stop roughly two minutes from the salon, which is the simplest way up without a car. Towradgi and Woonona are both on the South Coast Line, but our end is a fifteen minute walk from the station, so the bus usually wins.
Look for the sign, not the shopfront.
We are a narrow frontage on the highway, right beside another hair and beauty salon, so it is an easy one to walk past. Look for the Rosewood A-frame on the footpath and the gold light fitting inside the window.

Where are you and is there parking?
We are at 2/397 Princes Hwy, Woonona, right on the Princes Highway, with plenty of street parking and public car parks on Haddon Lane and Ball Street. If you are in for a longer appointment we would suggest the car parks, because they are untimed and for public use, and the inspectors are often about.
Can I book hair, makeup and a tan in the same visit?
Hair and makeup together, yes, and that is the whole idea behind Rosewood. A tan is the one thing we book separately, because it needs 24 hours to develop, so it goes in the day before, or up to 48 hours before. Tell us the date you are getting ready for and we will line the whole lot up so you are in one place, not three salons.
Do you do hair extensions?
We do. Tape extensions, wefts and K-Tips, colour matched and fitted to blend with your own hair. Every set starts with a complimentary consultation so we can look at your hair, match the colour and quote you properly, because the price depends on the length and thickness you are after. How long should I allow for my appointment?
As a rough guide, a cut and blow dry is about an hour, an all-over colour two to three hours, and foils or balayage three to four. If you are booking hair, face and body together we build the run sheet around you, so tell us what you need and we will give you a realistic finish time before you arrive.

We service clients from far and wide, and we welcome everyone to our salon. Most of our clients come from across the Illawarra, the South Coast, the Southern Highlands and surrounds.
