This policy covers this website. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

The only part of this site that asks you for anything is the enquiry form. If you fill it in, we get:

• Your name.
• Your email address.
• Your phone number, if you give us one. It is optional.
• Whatever you write in the message box.

There is no account to create, no login, and nothing is paid for on this website.

A few technical details travel along with your message, the way they do with any form on any website: your IP address and the rough area it points to, the browser and device you are on, your screen size, your language and time zone, the page you sent it from, and where you came to us from. We do not go hunting for those and we do not build a profile out of them. They arrive attached to the enquiry, they help us tell a real message from the hundreds of automated ones, and they tell us which page prompted you to write.

Our host keeps the usual behind-the-scenes record of visits, the same as any website does. We do not go looking through it.

What we do with it

We use it to answer you and to sort out your appointment. Nothing else.

We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to anyone for marketing.

Our bookings run through Phorest. If you book online you are taken across to their site, so whatever you enter there is covered by their privacy policy rather than this one.

Cookies and tracking

We do not track you. There is no Google Analytics on this site, no Facebook or Instagram pixel, and no cookies of our own. The one exception is the Google map on our contact page, which comes from Google and can set its own.

Health and skin details

If you tell us something about your skin or your health, for example an allergy, a reaction to a colour or the result of a patch test, we use it for one reason only, which is keeping your appointment safe. We do not use it for anything else.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to look after you, and no longer. If you want yours gone sooner, ask and it is gone.

Seeing it, fixing it, deleting it

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Call the salon or email us and we will sort it out. There is no charge and you do not have to give a reason.

If something goes wrong

Tell us first. Email [email protected] or call 0423 307 350 and we will look into it and come back to you.

If you are still not happy, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes, we will change the date at the top of the page. We will not quietly start collecting something new and leave this page saying otherwise.
